A little bit about myself - I am currently located in North Carolina with my husband, Seth, and our Great Pyrenees, Hudson, but I have had the joy of traveling coast to coast and all over the world to capture and tell stories. Through my imagery, I strive to find the beautiful in the candid. I feel so lucky to create magazine worthy images that feel like my clients and remind them of one of the most significant events in their lives!
Something You Should Know
I was initially drawn to the storytelling nature of photography. When I was twelve years old, I found an old film camera in the attic and spent hours photographing wandering around Charlottesville, VA, meeting strangers, hearing their stories, and then photographing them. There is something so beautifully raw that happens when photography is based around stories. And it's been a cornerstone in my approach ever since.
This is the reason I so treasure our time together yesterday! You were so open and willing to answer questions that are maybe a smidge different than what is normally asked. But it gave me such insight into your lives and the things that you value and hold close, which is invaluable when it comes to photographing your love story. So thank you for trusting me and being so wonderful to chat with!

FAQS
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU TAKE ON PER YEAR?
In order to maintain the highest standards for each and every one of my clients, I limit the amount of weddings to fifteen per year.
WHAT IS THE TYPICAL TURN AROUND TIME?
During peak season, turnaround time will be no more than 8 weeks. During off season, our current average is about 4 weeks after a wedding.
WILL YOU BE THERE FOR MY ENTIRE WEDDING DAY?
You may notice that my packaging is a little different: simple, customizable, and tailored to what fits you. While I do always include one package that is 8 hours, the rest are all full day coverage and this is what almost every single one of my couples opt for. Because we will spend the months leading up to your wedding getting to know each other and preparing for every moment of your big day, I love to be there for every second of it and do not put a time limit on how much of your day will be captured if you choose full-day coverage. This will allow us to plan a day that is relaxed, joyous, and inclusive of all of the moments you are most looking forward to! But I also want you to build a package that is tailored to your needs - which may be a smaller amount of time. If you're wondering which is best for you, I suggest looking at the suggested timeline below each package and seeing what feels most in line with your vision for you big day!
WHY FILM?
As a hybrid photographer, I shoot with a mixture of film and digital. Film is beautiful, timeless, and captures the stunning light, details, and elegance of your love story. But there are moments where digital shines and film falls short. On your wedding day, I will choose my medium based on what will most beautifully bring your day to life. Any digital images shot are edited to seamlessly flow with my film images.
WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL CONSIDERATIONS?
There will be no travel fee assessed for your wedding. We'd rather you spend the fee on beautiful products such as our handmade albums!
HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU DELIVER PER HOUR?
On average, you can expect 75 - 90 images/hour of coverage.
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE INVESTMENT?
Your collection is 100% customizable to your specific needs, but I do offer a few pre-selected collections that are popular with most of my clients. Keep scrolling to see these collections! And always let me know if there is anything you would like to adjust!
HOW DO WE BOOK?
Studio policy requires a signed contract and 40% retainer in order to reserve a date. The remaining payment is due 4 weeks before your wedding date. If you're ready to move forward, simply send me an email with the package you're interested in and any changes you may wish to make, and I'll send you a contract to review!
